ID and Password

1. All Illinois students are assigned NetIDs and passwords when they are admitted to the University. The NetID is the first part of the university email address, xxxxx@illinois.edu, “xxxxx” is the NetID.
2. In order to register, a student must know their NetID and password to login.
3. Go to the NetID Center’s Forgotten or Expired Password webpage for assistance with NetID and Password issues.
4. If password recovery options were not set up, you will need to visit the Tech Services Help Desk in person. Bring your University iCard for identity verification. 

Log In

1. Go to Student Self-Service.
2. Select the Urbana-Champaign campus.
3. Enter your NetID and password.

2. Select Class Registration.
